On Sunday, 27th April 2025, our Managing Director (Tony Ward) will take on the challenge of the TCS London Marathon, covering 26.2 miles—not just for personal achievement but for a cause that truly matters. This marathon attempt is about more than just reaching the finish line; it’s about making a difference in the lives of thousands of children facing cancer.
This marathon effort supports Children with Cancer UK, a charity committed to a powerful vision: a world where every child and young person survives cancer. Each mile of the race is dedicated to these brave children, and every donation raised will directly fund life-saving research, innovative treatments, and compassionate care that young cancer patients urgently need. Tony is hoping to raise £2000 for them.
Why This Cause Matters
Every day, 12 children in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. While medical advancements have improved survival rates, cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease in children. By supporting Children with Cancer UK, vital research can be funded to transform these statistics, offering hope to families and working towards a future where no child has to face cancer.
My Story
I want to share my fundraising update and thank you for your tremendous support. Your generosity has humbled me, and it certainly helped when I was running around London. The heat was brutal, but knowing I could not let you and the charity down spurred me on. The total raised for Children with Cancer was £2716.45.
